Ingredients
- 150 grams Tsokolate Lover (melted)
- 2-4 tbsp maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 150 grams pistachio butter
- 12 Medjool dates, pitted
- 2 tbsp pistachios, roughly chopped or crushed
- 1 tbsp rose petals (optional, for garnish)
- ¼ tsp sea salt flakes
Method
1. Melt the Cacao
In a double boiler (or a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water), gently melt the Tsokolate Lover, stirring occasionally until smooth. Remove from heat.
2. Sweeten & Enhance
Whisk in the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
3. Prepare the Bark Base
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Split the dates open, pit them if needed, and press them down onto the sheet, making sure they overlap slightly so they stick together.
4. Layer the Pistachio Butter & Cacao
Pour the pistachio butter over the dates and spread evenly with a spatula. Top with the melted cacao mixture, spreading it evenly into a thin layer.
5. Add the Goodness
