Step 1:

In your favourite vessel, dissolve 2 tablespoons of Nostalgia in 50 ml of boiling water or plant milk.

Step 2:

To enjoy hot, top with 150 ml of hot plant milk. To enjoy cold, add a handful of ice & top with 150 ml of cold plant milk.

To enjoy as a frappé:

Dissolve 2-4 tablespoons of Nostalgia in 50 ml of boiling water. Add to a blender along with a heaped cup of ice & 200 ml of plant milk.

Step 2:

Blend mixture until smooth, adding more ice if you desire a thicker consistency. Pour your frappé mixture into a tall glass. Top it off with a sprinkle of Nostalgia.

To Eat:

Sprinkle over ice cream, yoghurt, oatmeal, smoothie bowls… whatever you like! Also great added to smoothies and baking recipes.

We lightly sweeten our cacao with pure monk fruit juice. If you like your cacao sweeter, feel free to add your sweetener of choice to taste.

Tsokolate, pronounced Cho-Ko-Lat-Eh, is a traditional Filipino chocolate drink made by mixing Tableya & water. Tableya are chocolate tablets formed from stone ground cacao beans. we infuse our cacao with potent adaptogenic herbs for an exquisite & functional ceremonial grade cacao that’s like no other.

What Makes Us Different?

Tsokolate is not your typical drinking chocolate. We use the whole cacao bean instead of just the powder. This leaves all the cacao butter, rich flavour, and nutrients in tact. Our cacao thrives in its native environment, nurtured through sustainable agricultural methods that prioritize the well-being of farmers and their families. These practices are upheld by a cooperative of organic farmers who employ pesticide-free and chemical fertilizer-free organic farming techniques.

Our Roots

In the Philippines, the tradition of drinking tsokolate dates back to the pre-colonial era when cacao was cultivated and consumed by indigenous communities. The traditional preparation of tsokolate involves grinding roasted cacao beans and mixing the paste with sugar and sometimes spices. The resulting thick and rich chocolate drink is often served during special occasions and ceremonies. It became a symbol of hospitality and celebration, with variations in preparation methods across different regions of the country. Our connection with cacao started during childhood, growing up in the Philippines. Lola (grandmother) used to make tsokolate to go with our breakfast or mirienda (afternoon snack). From those early memories, a warm cup of cacao wasn’t just delicious but it was also a beloved ritual. A daily practice that nourished the body mind and spirit, one that many Filipinos can relate to.

Monk Fruit

Tsokolate is naturally sweetened with a certified organic, pure monk fruit juice powder. Monk fruit's delightful sweetness is a gift from nature, thanks to its natural antioxidants called 'mogrosides.' Hailing from the mystical mountains of China, where monks treasured it for centuries, Monk Fruit, also known as Luo Han Guo, was not just a fruit but a revered traditional Chinese medicine. These days it's valued as an ingredient in many products because it provides sweetness without the calories and potential blood sugar spikes associated with sugar.

So damn good!

My new go to when I want something sweet. It tastes similar to Milo but you can tell it's made from high quality ceremonial cacao. Love the energy boost as well. I make it cold, poured over some ice and its a great pre workout too. Just need to make sure I can drink it before my girlfriend has it all!

Best Hot Chocolate

I now drink this everyday and it has replaced my daily coffee. Really easy to make, I just dissolve a couple of spoonfuls in a little bit of boiling hot water then top with frothed up milk. It's a really effective energy boost without the crash, jitters or anxiety.

Healthy Milo alternative

In love with Nostalgia. It has the familiar choc-malt flavour similar to Milo only richer and more "adult" tasting. It comes in powder form but you can tell that it's made using ground up ceremonial cacao. I'm loving it as a frappe which I make by blending it up with some soy milk, ice and coconut sugar in a blender. 10 out of 10!
